A week with performances and talks
In our last week of Dingen die niet verkopen, verkopen u dingen we will host two events, celebrating political activism through arts and design. We will remain open on the usual hours on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 2pm until 6pm, so you can still come and watch, buy, and collect. Reservations for these events are recommended (send an e-mail to alec@ddnv.be with the event and number of people) given the limited public.
December 18th at 8pm: ESTAFETTE
The ESTAFETTE series is a performance art relay race triggered off by dancer and performer Miroslav Kochanek. In a series of performances, each artist is challenged by the previous one to improvise or adapt to a certain theme. Connected to our current exhibition, this time the theme is Activism. Miroslav challenged the following artists:
"Classic Cars Studio: Drill Baby Drill!"
CCS is the joint venture of costume artist Ada Monsterlet and musician Jacob Suske. In their shared garage they put their theatrical skills at play to research the speculative intersections between collapse, humor and performance.
